Beth & Jackson’s relaxed French wedding

May 28, 2010

As promised, here are some more images from my work friend Beth’s lovely French celebration. I’m always harping on about how your wedding should be a true reflection of your personality, and Beth’s lovely relaxed manner is so evident in her wedding pics. Both Beth and Jackson have always loved France (might be something to do with the cheap wine!), and when they first clapped eyes on Chateau de Cazenac in the Dordogne, it was a done deal. To make sure everything was even more relaxing, Beth and Jackson hired a fantastic wedding planner who organised all the food, wine and even the amazing flowers. All Beth and Jackson had to do was show up! Beth’s bridesmaids’ simple cotton dresses were sourced from different high street shops, which along with their floral wrist corsages, really summed up the rustic French atmosphere. I also loved the look of the ceremony – who’d choose a fusty old church when you can tie the knot under a tree in the grounds of a breathtaking French chateau? Photography: Fred Marigaux.

  1. Beautiful! This location reminds me of where the film ‘A Good Year’ (2006) was shot.
